Chão do Prado
António João Pinto Paneiro, great-grandson of Antonio Joaquim Pinto Junior and João Camilo Alves, both producers of Bucelas wines in the nineteenth century, began its own production in 1993 after receiving inheritance small farmhouse Chão do Prado. Eight hectares which currently produces dry white wine and sparkling wine with designation of origin and marketed under the brand "Chão do Prado", from vine varieties: arinto, esgana-cão and rabo de ovelha.
The production of this natural raw constituted a novelty in the market and was the first step for Bucelas were to be demarcated as sparkling wine region, in 1999, another factor contributing to the enhancement of local wines.
